Statement
Painting is a language I learned when, as a child, I was told that children are to be seen and not heard. Every emotion from sweet love to the greatest grief and angst are in the canvases I've created.
"Children of the Night" comes from a place very deep in my heart for children who have been used and abused. I found the sweetness of the child and the weirdness of the world around her.
