Nancy Jordan

Nancy graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with a BA in studio art and a minor in art history. She worked and taught ceramics as an Art Coordinator at the Mountain View Art Place in Cobb County, GA. She has taught ceramic arts and drawing to adults, as well as to children.

Nancy’s sculptures are original one-of-a-kind items, hand-built and shaped in a process unique and individual to each creation. Nancy works out of her studio in Marietta, Georgia.

Artist Statement

Each piece of sculpture is dear to me, like a tender spot in my mind. Faces void of expression, stoic, and at peace, they each have a strength, a watchfulness that represents what is found somewhere deep within me. I have always been an artist. It is just who I am and what I do.
